Enfield, EnglandPilatesKatie first came to be introduced to Pilates in 1998 at a local gym and since that day, she has seen her body gradually being transformed by the art of the Pilates method; becoming stronger yet more flexible as each year went by.
In 2005 she decided to train as a Pilates mat work teacher with the Pilates Foundation so she could share her experience and passion for Pilates with many people. After successfully running her mat work classes for a few years, she was eager to deepen her knowledge by embarking on Pilates studio training, and qualified as a comprehensive teacher in 2009. She loves the dynamics of teaching group classes just as much as focusing on specifics when teaching individuals, keeping her busy between her studio in North London and many central/north London sites where she offers regular group tuition.
Katie feels blessed to have found her profession in Pilates and ensures she will always make time for her own practice and learning in order to nourish her body and mind, and her teaching. She hopes to help spread the benefits of Pilates widely between genders, and to people of all ages and backgrounds. She is always thrilled to see people start to discover their body’s potential through the Pilates method and would love to share the experience with you.
