Christine Furler
Basel, Switzerland
Aerial Yoga, Jivamukti YogaChristine is into movement and body art since she was a little girl. Her yoga path started parallel to being a dancer and evolved deeply while traveling Central America. Christine became a travelling Yogini, dedicated Yoga practitioner and a passionate Vegan. Yoga is an art of living that makes her embrace and appreciate herself and everyone and everything around her. It lets her find new answers, makes her shift perception and reinvents herself over and over again. Awareness became a key and a planet-friendly lifestyle a permanent accessory. She completed a 200hours Vinyasa Teacher Training in Mexico, Playa del Carmen in 2009 and the 300hours Jivamukti Teacher Training in New York in 2011. Ever since she brings together what she has been taught and continues to shape and grow her practice as well as her teaching – on and off the mat. Christine’s classes offer students the opportunity to embody the Asana so as to challenge and shift perceptions. Her teaching style is compassionate and grounded, can take you out of your comfort zone and is always spiced up with some fun moments. “I am in love with life, full circle – the deep and heavy moments as well as the light and playful ones are welcome and get chewed up. I am looking for the clouds dancing in the skies and I love silly things. Playing is a requirement and growing up optional. I am coming to terms with my own uniqueness and will encourage everyone to do the same.” Christine is grateful to each and every teacher that she has met on her journey; they all became a part of her.
'What makes it [Wellicious] really exquisite for me is the fact that they produce eco-friendly and responsibly in Europe. We have a responsibility towards Mother Earth and all its inhabitants and, therefore, it is an honor to support Wellicious in their attempt to be a role model in this field. ' -

Jeanne Fregil
Dublin, Ireland
Bikram & Baptiste Yoga, Barkan Method
www.inityoga.ieAfter dabbling into various physical activities, I discovered yoga in 2006 in Manila, my hometown. From my first day of practice, yoga had a deep impact in the way I perceive myself and the world around me. Initially, I did the yoga for its physical benefits but now, I do it for the mental clarity and that sense of inner peace I get after a good practice. It has taught me to be fearless in the face of challenges.
My calling is to share with the world the gift of yoga. In 2008, I completed Bikram Yoga 9-week teacher training with Bikram Choudhury in Acapulco. I have also trained with Jimmy Barkan (levels 1, 2 &3), and Baron Baptiste (Power Vinyasa Yoga).
In 2011, my life dream came true when I opened my own yoga studio in Dublin where I help my students change their life one pose at a time.
'I have a few Wellicious pieces and I love the leggings and the cool top the most. The cool top is very flattering and the look can be used in and out of the studio!' -
Tegan Bukowski
London, United Kingdom
Vinyasa Yoga
Tegan hails from the USA but lives in London. She is a wanderer at heart and spends all of her free time traveling the world. Her background in dance, gymnastics, and military training means that her Vinyasa classes focus on strength, alignment and beautiful flow. Tegan came to Yoga during her architectural Masters degree. She found her high intensity studies coupled with her natural high energy to be draining, stressful and downright anxiety filled. She needed some balance. Through several transformative years, many incredible manifestations, tons of positive affirmations and an enthusiastic gratitude practice, Tegan has transformed her lifestyle into a balanced, love-filled manifestation of gratitude. She trained to be a Vinyasa Yoga instructor through Stretch London and Suryalila in Andalucia, Spain. Tegan is the London Lead of SERENE Social, a women’s wellness group focused on empowering women, creating community and giving back while having a healthy and luxuriously fun time. Tegan has taught yoga in the USA, Switzerland, UK, and Spain

Stephanie Knight

Jivamukti Yoga
When I first discovered the writings of transcendentalists like Emerson and Thoreau as a teenager, it sparked an interest in Hindu texts and curiosity in the potential of human consciousness. On my school lunch break one day, I walked into a Yoga and meditation class in a church in Notting Hill. Needless to say, I was captivated.
Later, while a student at King’s College London, I started to explore different methods of Yoga such as Ashtanga and Kundalini Yoga during my free time and this practice planted seeds for a future lifestyle.
A few years later, while working as as a holistic therapist in a rehabilitation centre in Cape Town, people started asking me to share with them what they would sometimes see me doing in the garden. I reluctantly agreed, as I felt like a beginner and had not yet trained as a teacher. The experience was mind-blowing and has since served as a limitless source of inspiration, a reminder of the transformative power of Yoga.
After discovering Jivamukti Yoga in London in 2008, I undertook Jivamukti Yoga teacher training with Sharon Gannon and David Life in New York in 2010. I went on to complete an apprenticeship with Cat Alip- Douglas at Jivamukti Yoga London, where I was based as a teacher until the end of 2013. In January 2014 I moved to Luxembourg, to co-found the Dancing Kala Yoga School.
My dream is for Yoga to inspire human beings to wake up and get in touch with who they really are and to set about living in a way that causes the least amount of harm possible, whenever possible. I believe a Yoga practice, over time, enables us to directly experience the inter-connectedness of life and to become de-hypnotised from oppressive cultural norms and conditioning.
Yoga also teaches us to be courageous and kind, strong but also soft, to be flexible so as to not to ever become bent out of shape or broken – not just in our physical bodies but in our minds, hearts and attitudes. Yoga calls on us to let go of divisive world views and to come together in pursuit of a higher goal.
When not working with you at Dancing Kala Yoga, I can be found unrolling my Yoga mat at workshops, retreats, in local forests, at home and in sacred sites and spaces around the world, embracing that ever greater sense of incremental interconnectedness of life. -
Louise Cashin
Teddington, United Kingdom
Yoga Teacher and Yoga Teacher TrainerI have practiced Yoga for about 25 years and taught since 2002. For me Yoga isn’t just something you do on your mat with a teacher but a lifestyle, a whole way of living and thinking. I encourage my students to do a little bit of Yoga everyday. Whether that is 15 minutes of asana practice or Yoga breathing in bed before sleep or mindfulness practices around emotional wellbeing during a busy day at work.
My classes are an eclectic mix of asana and creative sequences and I always like to emphasise the importance of relaxation and breath awareness as part of any Yoga practice. I enjoy sharing the rich philosophy of Yoga with my students, and how it can positively impact our daily lives and our relationships. In 2013 as Yoga Alliance SYT I was accredited to deliver a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Programme, which has been a complete joy. We are currently about to launch our 100 hour Advanced Teaching Workshops and CPD, life just gets better!

Alin Kania-Faisst
Hannover, Germany
Hatha Yoga
Alin teaches classical Hatha Yoga (Iyengar inspired). The Iyengar tradition was handed down to her by her mother early on – at the sweet age of only 5 years the small Alin saw her mother in headstand (Sirsasana). To see her Mother Kali stand on her head, was the beginning of a series of moments from her childhood that she still carries with her today. Numerous joint and long trips to India followed, having spent exciting times in the wondrous world of ashrams. The roots of her spirituality, a deep understanding of yoga and meditation were born here, in her childhood in India.
And it tied a strong bond between mother and daughter - today they complement each other in their annual workshops and yoga trips. Alin and her mother Kali also teach twice a year their legendary yoga retreats in Kalis beautiful spa resort "Reguengo" in Portugal (www.reguengo.com). They share this passion: to give each participant a grounded yoga foundation that can grow the wings of the soul. Always with the right touch of humor and lightness!
lin studied different yoga styles such as Iyengar yoga, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga. She is now a mother of three children and accompanied in her pre- and postnatal yoga courses many mothers on the way to intimate connection with their babies. -

Leslie Saglio
London, United Kingdom
Yin, Vinyasa & Kids Yoga
My classes revolve around invigorating the senses, inspiring the soul and encouraging my students to discover the deeper layers of the self, assisting them in bringing positive energy and transformation into their lives. With a background in dance, movement and energy healing I also use sound and essential oils, bringing balance and fluidity for the body, mind and spirit.
I am a registered RYT 200 teacher with Yoga Alliance UK, passed Affinity Yoga 300 hour teacher training, in Vinyasa and Yin, and completed my Children's teacher training under Jo Manuel of Special Yoga.
Prior to yoga, while in Los Angeles, I worked in the entertainment industry marketing for major film companies, following a career as a real estate entrepreneur. But it was yoga that turned my attention inward to truly take care of myself and my family, living a more beautiful and balanced life. I have always had an interest in a holistic lifestyle that compelled me to help others, furthering my passion to promote and support a positive and healthy well-being. I am deeply grateful for all the teachers on my journey so far, most especially my two young children.
"I love that Wellicous is created by a fellow mumpreneur and yogini. I think it’s beautiful to see empowered women doing it all while promoting a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. I love the ethics behind the brand and the clothes – not only are they eco-friendly but also beautiful and versatile - easily going from on the mat to off the mat." -
Linnea Ahlgren
Moscow, Russia
Jivamukti Yoga
Having found more hope for a better world through yoga than through round tables and suits, Linnea, originally from Sweden, left a promising career in international relations for creating more peace in the hearts of women and men. She took the Jivamukti Yoga 300-hour Teacher Training in 2012 and since then teaches full time in Moscow, Russia, where she lives with her husband who is gracious enough to let her share his everyday life. She is inspired by the courage of every single person who steps onto the yoga mat, daring to turn inward instead of chasing abundant distractions without. Her classes have been described as a meditative flow of breath, music and awareness. Linnea is humbly grateful to all her teachers off the mat and on, to Sharon Gannon and David Life for creating the worldwide satsang that is Jivamukti Yoga, and to her first teacher, her mother, for being the embodiment of compassion.
"As a yogi, and particularly a yoga teacher, I try to practice the values of these teachings to the best of my ability (while still looking good doing it). Therefore, it is wonderful to see a clothing company like Wellicious that adheres to these guidelines, promoting sustainability and social responsibility as their core values."
