My classes revolve around invigorating the senses, inspiring the soul and encouraging my students to discover the deeper layers of the self, assisting them in bringing positive energy and transformation into their lives. With a background in dance, movement and energy healing I also use sound and essential oils, bringing balance and fluidity for the body, mind and spirit.
I am a registered RYT 200 teacher with Yoga Alliance UK, passed Affinity Yoga 300 hour teacher training, in Vinyasa and Yin, and completed my Children's teacher training under Jo Manuel of Special Yoga.
Prior to yoga, while in Los Angeles, I worked in the entertainment industry marketing for major film companies, following a career as a real estate entrepreneur. But it was yoga that turned my attention inward to truly take care of myself and my family, living a more beautiful and balanced life. I have always had an interest in a holistic lifestyle that compelled me to help others, furthering my passion to promote and support a positive and healthy well-being. I am deeply grateful for all the teachers on my journey so far, most especially my two young children.

Through her teachings Sarah encourages individuals to become more self and body aware through movement, encouraging a healthy balance of both Yin and Yang in one’s practice and life. Yin Yoga uses the body in a series of floor postures which are held statically for long periods of time. These deep stretches work fascia, increase flexibility, ease tensions, prevent immobilisation of the joints, encourage deep relaxation... Dynamic Yang sequences may be incorporated in some Yin classes, focussing more on muscle strength and flow of movement. Viniyoga focuses on a combination of both static and dynamic work and places its primary importance on the breath, linking movement to the breath. Main benefits include increased strength, balance, focus, mobility and general wellbeing of body and mind. Sarah can be booked for private, group and corporate classes, workshops and courses.

In May ’05 Lara took the Jivamukhti 200-hour Alliance teacher training, and in July 05 she completed 500 hour certificate with Tripsichore. Lara has well documented her Quantum method of yoga in various books and DVD’s. Lara also organizes Yoga retreats in various locations around the world.
